To our clients:

I want to let you know about the steps Windmiller Equine is taking during the COVID-19 outbreak. As a medical professional service, we are monitoring updates and following all state and federal recommendations while continuing to serve our clients and patients.

To protect the health of our staff and our clients, we are taking the following precautions:

1. We are abiding by all social distancing guidelines and require anyone present or in the vicinity of an exam to do the same.  In many cases you are not required to be present for an appointment.  If you prefer not to be present, please inform us in advance so that we may have appropriate staff available.

2. If you are feeling ill for any reason, we request that you not be present at your appointment.  Please advise us in advance of your appointment so that we may make arrangements to have appropriate staff available.  Depending on circumstances, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

3. We will be using appropriate preventative measures during appointments and disinfecting ourselves and equipment before and/or between each appointment.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Gastric ulcers in horses are far more common than many people realize. The condition is very often found in horses kept in stalls, frequently trailered, or undergoing intensive training. The associated anxiety, in addition to artificial and controlled feeding routines alien to a horse’s natural grazing patterns, may put the animal under varying levels of stress.  Studies show that 60% of show horses have gastric ulcers.

Are you w
orried about ulcers affecting your horse's health or performance?  Take advantage of a limited time gastroscopy offer!  Discounted rates on gastroscopy and a 28 day supply of Gastrogard if your horse has ulcers and Gastrogard is the recommended treatment! Call 614-695-5225 or click here to reserve your spot today as spaces are limited!
